Davidson Criminal Defense & DUI Law Firm announces $1,800 educational scholarship program

Scholarship Information

The Law Offices Joshua S. Davidson, PLC, Arizona’s premiere criminal and DUI defense attorneys, is pleased to announce that it will be offering an educational scholarship opportunity for the Fall, 2020 academic year. To help undergraduate and law students diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn’s Disease or Ulcerative Colitis), the Davidson Criminal Defense & DUI Law Firm is awarding a $1,800 scholarship for an eligible student studying criminal law, criminal justice or criminal procedure.

Although new treatments are being developed with increasing frequency and many health care professionals believe a cure is around the corner, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) currently affects 1.6 million Americans. IBD is a chronic and life-long condition that can significantly affect one’s quality of life. The Davidson Criminal Defense & DUI Law Firm is thankful for the opportunity to provide assistance to a student who is interested in criminal law or criminal justice.

Eligibility

Citizens of the U.S. who have been diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease or Ulcerative Colitis and who intend to further their education at a law school, university, college, or junior college and study criminal law, criminal procedure and/or criminal justice courses are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Application Deadline

The application, together with all uploads, must be submitted to us by July 1, 2020. The scholarship will be announced no later than July 21, 2020. The winning applicant shall be selected by Joshua S. Davidson at his sole discretion.

Application Requirements

In order to be considered for the scholarship, an applicant must complete the following:

• The Fall 2020 Scholarship Application Form
• An essay of up to 1,000 words, to be submitted with the application form, discussing your educational goals, notable qualities, and leadership abilities.
• An optional essay of up to 500 words, to be uploaded, discussing how Inflammatory Bowel Disease has affected your education.
• In addition to the application, we may request proof of your diagnosis.

The information submitted to us becomes the property of Davidson Criminal Defense & DUI Law Firm, PLC. We do not sell your information to anyone, nor do we disseminate it, other than for the purpose of publicizing our firm’s scholarship program or reporting on it.
