Thursday, February 20, Phoenix police officers who were conducting a sting arrested a Child Protective Services worker for allegedly trying to purchase heroin. According to one sergeant, the department had gotten a tip about this 35-year-old CPS worker. They said she pulled up in a government car and bought $200 of fake heroin from undercover Phoenix officers. When she was arrested, she said that she was investigating a client for CPS.
